VW's U.S. arm sued by FTC over 'clean diesel' ads

The Federal Trade Commission filed suit against Volkswagen Group of America for falsely advertising that hundreds of thousands of diesel vehicles were environmentally friendly, when they were secretly emitting excess pollution.
