Ford to idle Kansas City truck, van plant for a week in Jan.

Ford plans to shutter its Kansas City Assembly Plant for the first week of 2017 as it tries to pare down its truck and van inventory. The automaker will take a week of downtime from Jan. 2 to Jan. 9, it confirmed today.
