Unifor launches strike at 3 GM Canada operations after parties fail to reach new contract

The strike includes roughly 4,300 hourly workers at GM’s Oshawa Assembly Plant east of Toronto, its powertrain plant in St. Catharines and its Woodstock Parts Distribution Center.
