GM in talks with activist shareholder Wilson, WSJ says

General Motors, seeking to avoid a proxy fight, is in discussions with activist shareholder Harry Wilson regarding his proposal to join the automaker's board and to return $8 billion to investors, the Wall Street Journal reported.
