VW plans $1 billion expansion of Mexico plant to add Tiguan output

VW will invest around $1 billion to expand its Puebla, Mexico, plant to produce a longer, redesigned Tiguan compact crossover. The investment will cover new high-technology assembly lines and will generate some 2,000 jobs.
