BorgWarner to buy electric, hybrid motor maker Remy in $1.2 billion deal

Auto parts maker BorgWarner said today it agreed to buy Remy International, for about $950 million to better compete in the fast-growing market for electric and hybrid vehicles. The deal has an enterprise value of $1.2 billion.
