NHTSA to decide soon on steps to speed Takata airbag repairs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it will decide by Thanksgiving whether to order additional measures to speed up the recalls of more than 19 million U.S. vehicles with Takata airbag inflators that may explode in a crash.
