Pacific trade deal cuts U.S. tariffs on light vehicles, sets new duty-free benchmark for local content

Pacific trade ministers reached a deal on the most sweeping trade liberalization pact in a generation that will lower U.S. tariffs on light vehicles, revamp global auto production and open Japan's market to U.S.-built vehicles.
