TrueCar names AutoTrader veteran Chip Perry as CEO

Chip Perry, who helped build AutoTrader from a start-up venture into a $1 billion shopping site, has been named the new CEO of TrueCar. Perry, 62, replaces Scott Painter, who announced his resignation as CEO in August.
