Group 1 Q1 net drops 4.3%; hurt by hail, lower sales

Group 1 Automotive's first-quarter net income fell 4.3 percent from a year earlier to $34.3 million, hurt by Texas hailstorms and lower new-vehicle sales in the U.S., the auto retailer said today.
