Uber, Volvo partner to put self-driving SUVs on U.S. roads by year-end

Uber and Volvo are forming a $300 million autonomous-vehicle partnership and plan to roll out the service in Pittsburgh by the end of the year -- in a sign of how fast driverless technology is evolving.
