GM, Ford sales slip

GM and Ford posted lower August sales in what is expected to be a rare down month for the industry since the 2008-09 market collapse. GM said August volume slipped 5.2 percent to 256,429 cars and light trucks. Ford's August U.S. sales fell 8.
