TOYOTA: Sales slide 5% on weak cars, pickups

Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. posted a 5 percent decline in August sales to 213,125 vehicles, as strong deliveries of crossovers and SUVs were outweighed by declines in car and pickup sales, the company said Thursday.
