BMW taps factory man Zipse as CEO

Oliver Zipse, 55, will take over as BMW CEO on Aug. 16, replacing Harald Krueger, who will step down. Zipse was said to be in a horserace for the CEO job with another strong contender, Klaus Froehlich.
