Cars.com, after strategic review, off the market; shares plunge

The online shopping guide and marketplace said a strategic review, including a possible sale, resulted in “no actionable bids.” The 10-month process drew 29 “interested, prospective bidders,” the company said. Cars.com shares plunged and closed down 34 percent in Monday trading.
