NHTSA opens probe into Joyson airbags for possible defect

Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, General Motors and Nissan previously have issued vehicle recall notices for the auto supplier's airbag assemblies over a defect that could prevent the airbags from properly deploying during a crash.
