Automakers ask U.S. Treasury for clarity, flexibility in forthcoming guidance on EV tax credits

Under the recently signed Inflation Reduction Act, the U.S. Treasury Department is required to issue proposed guidance by the end of the year that will further define how to meet the EV tax credit's eligibility constraints.
