Ford Q3 profit drops 56% as North America slips

Ford said its third-quarter net income fell 56 percent from a strong performance a year ago as global revenues dropped slightly. Net income was $957 million. Ford's pretax profit was $1.41 billion, down 55 percent from the third quarter of 2015.
