Crossovers, trucks drive Nissan, GM, Ford, FCA to gains

Robust demand for trucks and crossovers, along with summer promotions, helped Nissan Motor, GM, Ford Motor and Fiat Chrysler post higher U.S. sales last month. Nissan Group's deliveries rose 7.8 percent to 130,872 -- a July record.
