VW, U.S. may miss deadline for emissions settlement, EPA chief says

The top U.S. environmental official expressed uncertainty about whether the Obama administration would reach a settlement with Volkswagen by an April 21 court deadline to address excess emissions from 580,000 diesel vehicles sold in the country.
