Sonic's Q3 net drops 32% on stop-sales, weakness in BMW and Houston

Sonic Automotive Inc.'s third-quarter net income plummeted 32 percent from a year earlier to $18.1 million due to stop-sales of vehicles, a decline in sales by the BMW brand and weakness in the Houston market, the company said today.
